Teachers have a very significant, lifelong impact on all of their students. This impact involves not only the teaching of particular academic skills but as importantly, the fostering of student self-esteem. Building up self-esteem in the classroom increases motivation and participation in learning. Self-realization involves full knowledge of the self. It’s one of the aims I believe in and apply in my class. Self-realization is when the student or an individual achieves potential include creative activities. As a teacher, it is my role to make sure that students are realizing themselves. I always tend to allow my students to feel safe and to share their thoughts without any worries to express themselves freely.
As a teacher, we need to be sure that the students realize themselves because it provides students insight into who they are, why they react as they do, and gives them a direction for self-improvement. Self-awareness for students is crucial for success. Students should know themselves to have the ability to achieve their goals, and this trait helps students thrive in everything they do. Plus, it raises students’ self-confidence, which motivates them to participate more in class. For example, I used to let my students write a list of things they like about themselves, which makes them feel proud and aware of the things that specialized them. It helps them feel confident, and this leads to effective participation and cooperation. Another example, for my students in Grade 2, I do an emotional activity on a daily basis called “Emotion Journal” in this, students learned to identify and label their feelings. Every morning they pasted emoji faces to express and be aware of their feelings; however, this makes them feel more comfortable and emotionally safe. Taking the time for a daily “emotional assessment” allows students to understand and explore their emotions.
Moreover, it is important to enrich the student’s character with values and believes such as honesty, loyalty, trust in order to create a positive and good environment in the classroom. For example, if I faced any trust issues with my students in the class, I would tell them a story related to honesty and trust to let them disregard this issue and learn the value of honesty. Also, I can design or prepare an activity day for students in which they work in groups on a specific psychosocial topic. By doing this students will learn new values and manners.

This is a very helpful article to talk about in order to be aware of the technology solutions.
